Varsity Basketball Standings- Push for the Playoffs

Basketball Teams Start Round 2 of Region Play

The varsity basketball teams look to finish strong the second time through our region after both teams finished 4-2 in the first trip around.  They have fought through some injuries and other adversity to put themselves in a strong position for the postseason region tournament. Region Alignments for 2020-22 SY

Discovery has been placed in Region 7-AAAAAAA for the 2020-2022 school years.  This is a big shift for our school to be in a region with several of our rival schools including Berkmar and Meadowcreek. The region will also include Archer, Norcross, Dunwoody and Duluth who will join us from Region 6-AAAAAAA.  Football contracts will

Basketball Teams Are Starting Strong

The Lady Titans started their season 3-0 with a chance to go to 4-0 vs. Central Gwinnett on Thursday 11/21.  They have been led by senior guards Akaya Chaney and Keyara Wooden.  Strong defensive efforts from other senior players have led to their school record start.  They won a hard fought game vs. Jonesboro 45-36, 

London Riley- SR Men’s BB Guard- Super Six Selection

All-Region Basketball Teams announced for 6-AAAAAAA

The Titans swept up on the boy’s side with the Coach of the Year- Cory Cason and Player of the Year- Leslie Nkeurewem.  They also placed the other 4 starters on one of the teams including 1st team guard Hasahn Reynolds.
